2020-04-23 10:52:11

A certified reference material is a reference material "accompanied by a document issued by an authoritative authority providing one or more characteristic values with uncertainty and traceability obtained using an effective procedure". The following is a small edition of Bolinda to introduce you.

Only the certified reference material provides a certified value or standard value that can be used for calibration, assigning values to other substances and confirming the accuracy of the measurement, and can be used to claim the metrological traceability of the measurement results. Other types of reference materials are also used in our daily measurements, which are mainly used for measurement quality control and measurement precision confirmation.

For the purchased standard substances, after receipt of the certificate should first confirm whether the transport conditions of the standard substances meet the requirements, and then check whether the variety, quantity, etc., are consistent with the purchase requirements, whether the packaging and appearance are normal, and whether the identification is clear and complete; Whether there is a certificate, whether it is within the validity period of the certificate declaration. After the verification is complete, it is immediately saved according to the storage conditions specified in the certificate. If there is any problem, contact the development or sale unit in time.

Certified reference material has the following basic characteristics:

1. Traceability and uncertainty statement.

2, the preparation, determination and identification of standard substances conform to the effective procedures given by ISO guidelines 34 and 35, and China has equivalent converted the above guidelines into JJF1342 "General Requirements for the development (production) of standard substances" and JJF1343 "General Principles and statistical principles for the determination of standard substances". It has become the technical basis for the review and release of national standard substances.

The above is an introduction to the verification of newly purchased certified reference materials. Certificates of certified reference materials sometimes provide some additional reference values or information values, which usually lack clear metrological traceability, lack uncertainty information or incomplete uncertainty assessment. Therefore, their main use is to help users understand the matrix composition of the reference material, judge the suitability of the reference material, or to carry out measurement quality control depending on the reliability.
